Paragon Precision Engineering was formed in 1995 by engineers John Kent, Steve Voak and Gary Mayes. Starting in one factory unit in Ely we soon expanded into another unit. The company has grown steadily since and in 2001 we had a purpose built factory constructed providing 11,000 sq ft of engineering space.
Paragon is dedicated to implementing world class standards across all functions, and committed to achieving outstanding customer service for all its customers. We are proud to have achieved the LRQA ISO: 9001 certification of quality.
The company now employ 34 members of staff, most of whom have been with us for over 15 years.
Engineering takes place over two sites in Ely and the factory runs 24 hours a day to meet demand across the UK and Europe. Our highly skilled team are dedicated to delivering quality engineered solutions to your exacting specifications.
We also have a dedicated prototyping team that works with customers to create initial prototypes. Each item is then precision engineered to meet the quality requirements of our customers.
From high capacity contracts, to small scale parts, Paragon offers a complete service, from design through to machining, fabrication and painting.
Paragon is proud to support the Lisa Kent Trust, a charitable organisation dedicated to providing the children of the Gambia with the education they need for a brighter future.
The Trust established charitable status in 2003 continuing projects already underway from 2002. The Trust is also a registered charity in the Gambia, named after Lisa Kent, who died tragically at the age of 19.
The Trust delivers a quality education to children and young people in deprived communities of The Gambia, who otherwise would not have the opportunity of schooling. This is achieved by providing quality school buildings, experienced teachers and searching out the best in educational resources, whilst ensuring we attend to the pupil’s medical needs.
